Under the supervision of internationally renowned Japanese architect Kengo Kuma, this lounge was designed based on the concept of "Ichigo ichie" (treasure every encounter as if it were once in a lifetime).The "Yamato Wall" is constructed out of walnut tree, making for a luxurious, relaxing atmosphere.

Umegae mochi (rice cakes filled with sweet bean paste) from Kasanoya These famous umegae mochi are courtesy of Kasanoya, which began life as an inn on the approach to Dazaifu Tenmangu shrine in Fukuoka in 1922. The dough, made with a blend of glutinous and non-glutinous rice, is stuffed with chunky, slightly sweet bean paste to provide a wonderful aroma upon baking. Made from simple ingredients, these standout mochi boast a delicious homemade flavor due to their great balance of dough and bean paste.
